SKILL ASSESSMENT FOR MIGRATION
Having your skills assessed is a requirement for skilled migration to Australia under points tested, employer sponsored. The 457 Skills Assessment Program is an assessment pathway for applicants applying for a Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457), who:
- work in a nominated occupation and hold a passport from a nominated country or Special Administrative Region (SAR) as indicated in the table below;
- Are required by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) to have a skills assessment for temporary migration.
A skills assessment determines if you have the skills and experience necessary to work in Australia at the trade level for your occupation.
The skills assessment services we offer at Oz Links Group will help you fulfil the requirements of your planned migration.
Occupations are classified as either general professional occupations or trade occupations. Before starting the application process determine whether your occupation is considered general or trade.
